MC-Quellmittel 200

MC-Quellmittel 200 is a special product capable of increasing flexibility, making pumped mortar or combined with other MC admixture to make concrete, mortar with different technical requirements.

PRODUCT PROPERTIES:

• Capable of swelling.
• Non-shrinkage.
• Reduce the separation of water bleeding from the mixture and increase fluidity without segregation.
• Increase the waterproofing and non-corrosion ability of concrete structures.

AREAS OF APPLICATION:

• Temporary and permanent rock and soil anchoring.
• Grouting for sonic piles.
• Durable and dense filling of all cavities.
• Protective action agains corrosion of the prestressing wires.
• Non-shrink grout production even if sand is added into the grout mixture.

APPLICATION NOTES:

• MC-Quellmittel 200 is a special product capable of increasing flexibility, making pumped mortar or combined with other MC admixture to make concrete, mortar with different technical requirements.
• Production of insert concrete, the mortar does not shrink when sand is added to the liquid mortar mixture.
  Typical mix designs:
  – Without sand: MC-Quellmittel 200 : 0.3-0.8%/CKD; ratio N/CKD: 0,3-0,38 (can be used in combination with superplasticizers to reduce the amount of mixing water higher).
  – With sand: MC-Quellmittel 200 : 0.8-1.2%/CKD; tỉ lệ N/CKD: 0,38-0,45, Ratio Sand/CKD: 1/1.
• Mixing sequences are as follows: water, MC-Quellmittel 200, and then cement slowly added while mixing. In case of use sand, it must be added after cement. Allow sufficient mixing time to get a mixture showing homogeneous consistency.
• Concrete surfaces should be clean, sound and free from oil, grease, laitance, and loose particles. Metal shold be free from scale, sust, oil and grease.
• Tough the concrete surface and saturate the concrete surface after it has been roughened before applying.
• Use an appropriate mixer and do not mix by hand. If assistance is required, please contact our Technical Service Department.
• Mix in the mixer for 3 minutes so that the puree mixture meets the required flow rate.
• Should be constructed immediately after mixing the mortar to achieve the highest efficiency, during the construction process must ensure a continuous flow of mortar.
• Curing the exposed surface of the mortar as soon as it dries, avoid the surface to dry out prematurely.
• MC-Quellmittel 200 does not contain any hazardous substances. It is safe for use with standard precautions followed in the construction industry, such as use of hand gloves, safety goggles, etc.
• Avoid contact with foodstuffs and utensils. Avoid prolonged skin contact. In the event of contami-nation, wash thoroughly with water. If the eyes or mouth are affected, wash with clean water and obtain medical attention immediately.
