- APPLICATION NOTES:
➢ Substrate preparation: Concrete surface must be clean, in good condition, free from grease, cement dust and other adhering impurities. Saturate the entire absorbent surface but do not allow water to stagnate.
➢ Mixing:
1. Used as Bonding agent for old and new concrete screeds/bonds:
– Mixing ratio: Mix 4kg of cement with 1 liter of MC-Latex + 1 liter of water = slurry (mortar), can apply for 4 m².
2. Used as waterproofing layer protection:
– Mixing ratio:
Cement : Sand = 1 : 3 (1)
MC-Latex : Water = 1 : 3 (2)
– Pour mixture (2) into (1) and mix until the consistency is suitable for application reinforced with PU-based flexible injection resins or PU-based flexible foaming pump resins. Please refer to our MC-Injekt product range.
➢ Application:
– Apply the waterproofing mortar layer as soon as the connecting oil (grouting) layer is still wet.
– Consumption: 1L MC-Latex / m² for 2mm thickness layer.
➢ Safety information:
– Do not dispose into water or soil. MC-Latex may cause an allergic reaction. Appropriate precautions should be taken to minimize direct skin contact.
– If product gets into eyes, rinse with clean water and seek medical attention immediately.
➢ Delivery: Non-hazardous (non-explosive).
