- APPLICATION ADVICE:
➢ Ortolan Bio 755 is especially ecofriendly, mineral oil free concrete release emulsion for all common types of formwork.
➢ Formwork surface: The formwork has to be absolutely clean, free from concrete residues, oil and fatfree. If necessary, clean with an appropriate surfactant. The formwork surface may be slightly moist, but completely free from other formwork oils.
➢ Application: Please refer to the “General Application Advice for Ortolan release agents“.
➢ Ortolan Bio 755 forms a water-proof film on the formwork only after the water has evaporated. The evaporation time depends on temperature, air humidity and air exchange. If necessary, the releasing film that has formed after drying should be wiped down to ensure a better and more even distribution. Afterwards, the concrete can be poured into the formworks immediately.

➢ Further Information: Heavy over dosage can lead to the formation of spots, dusting, sanding and water repellency of the concrete surface.
