- APPLICATION ADVICE:
➢ Application note: Areas adjacent to rust-contaminated concrete areas should be covered before application. Before using MC-Rust EX please read the warnings and safety notices on the packaging.
➢ Mounting:
– MC-Rust EX is applied onto the slightly pre-wetted substrate by spraying or using a brush. Intensify the cleaning process with a brush before rinsing the area with a strong jet of water.
– The Interaction time for MC-Rust EX must not be less than 5 minutes.
– For dosage information please refer to the next page in the technical data. These values depend on the substrate and the amount of rust.
– The cleaning process with MC-Rust EX can be repeated in case of persistent rust contamination.
➢ Further information:
– MC-Rust EX can also be used as an immersion bath for derusting metal tools and small hardware units.
– After the neutralization with water, the dry metal parts should be preserved with a suitable protective agent, preferably MC Dur ZKE or Nafufill KMH.
