Substrate preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The substrate must be structurally sound and free from cement laitance, loose particles, dust, oil, grease and any other contaminants or old coatings which may affect the adhesion.<\/li>\n<li>Grind smooth all high spots and sharp protrusions.<\/li>\n<li>Surface defects such as voids, blowholes and static cracks must be repaired and refilled to prepare a sound surface for bonding.<\/li>\n<li>Horizontal substrates must have sufficient slope gradient to avoid water ponding.<\/li>\n<li>Metal surfaces must be rust-free and clean.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Mixing: MC-Proof 950<\/strong> is a ready-to-use product, no mixing required. However, after opening the container, the product must be thoroughly stirred until completely homogeneous before application. It is recommended to use a low speed mechanical stirrer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Application: MC-Proof 950<\/strong> can be applied with brush, roller or airless spraying equipment. <strong>MC-Proof 950<\/strong> should be applied with at least 2 coats crosswise and the waiting time for dry-touching of the coat is around 2-4 hours, depending on the ambient conditions and the thickness of the coat. At extreme areas such as corners, wall and floor conjunctions, or build-up systems, <strong>MC-Fast Tape<\/strong> or an appropriate glass fiber mesh should be immediately embedded into the first fresh coat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Precautious:<\/strong> Don\u2019t apply <strong>MC-Proof 950<\/strong> under rain or extreme weather. It should not be used in permanent contact with water. Roofing structures need to be designed at least 2% slope gradient. Ambient conditions and surface temperature must be under 35\u00b0C during the application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Protection and curing:<\/strong> Full cure of <strong>MC-Proof 950<\/strong> waterproofing system is approximate 14 days after the final coat. However, water tightness tests may be carried out after 7 days. The freshly applied membranes must be protected from rain for a minimum of 6-12 hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6.
