For industrial application and repairing system in matt anti-skid finish offering versatility in performance, aesthetics and economics.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>PRODUCT PROPERTIES:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u27a2 Anti-skid surface for safety.<br \/>\n\u27a2 Resists bacterial growth; fungi, mold and mildew.<br \/>\n\u27a2 Easily cleaned and maintained smooth seamless surface.<br \/>\n\u27a2 High-density systems with maximum wear, abrasion and impact resistance.<br \/>\n\u27a2 User-friendly, no solvent odour during installation.<br \/>\n\u27a2 One of the fastest &#8220;turnaround time&#8221; polymer modified product which reduces cost.<br \/>\n\u27a2 High temperature resistance up to 130\u00b0C at 12mm thickness.<br \/>\n\u27a2 Seamless without joints for optimum sanitation and hygienic finish.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>AREAS OF APPLICATION:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ideal area of application includes:<br \/>\n\u27a2 Hygienic floor for kitchen, wet food, beverage processing and packaging plants.<br \/>\n\u27a2 Chemical resistance flooring for chemical process, containment area and wash down rooms.<br \/>\n\u27a2 Thermal shock resistance flooring for freezers, refrigerators, and oven installed spaces. Mechanically durable flooring for loading docks and warehouses.<br \/>\n\u27a2 Anti-skid finish for safety in oily \/ slippery service condition.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CHEMICAL RESISTANCE:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0MC-DUR 260<\/strong> will resist spillages of :<br \/>\n\u27a2 Dilute and concentrated acids: hydrochloric, nitric, phosphoric and sulphuric.<br \/>\n\u27a2 Dilute and concentrated alkalis, including sodium hydroxide to 50% concentration.<br \/>\n\u27a2 Most dilute and concentrated organic acids.<br \/>\n\u27a2 Fats, oil and sugar.<br \/>\n\u27a2 Mineral oils, kerosene, gasoline and brake fluids.<br \/>\n\u27a2 Most organic solvents.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>APPLICATION ADVICE:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u27a2 <strong>Surface requirement &amp; preparation:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Suitable substrates are concrete or modified polymer screeds with a minimum compressive strength of 25N\/mm\u00b2 and pull-off strength of 1.5N\/mm\u00b2.<br \/>\n&#8211; Substrate to be coated must be clean, free from dust, oil, water, paint residues, loose constituents or any contaminants. Make use of a concrete surface planer, grit blasting, surface grinding or other mechanical means until a flat, rough profile is evident. Prepare grooves, 8mm(wide) x 8mm(deep), at all edges, bay joints columns, doorways, and drains to facilitate mechanical bonding.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 <strong>Mixing:<\/strong> Shake the containers of components A and B well before use. First put component A into a clean mixing vessel and stir in component D MC-DUR Color (pigment) and stir. Then add component B and continue stirring. Use a slow speed mixer and stir the mixture for about 1 minute until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, without any streaks of color. Then add the aggregate (component C) to the pre-mixed plastic mixture and continue stirring until the mixture is homogeneous. It is necessary to use a mixer to mix the plastic components with the aggregate together. Mixing time depends on the temperature of component C. At a temperature of 18 &#8211; 22\u00b0C, mixing time can be up to 3 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 <strong>Application:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Apply <strong>MC-DUR 260<\/strong> within its pot life.<br \/>\n&#8211; Spread the composite matrix to thickness of 6-12mm and consolidate with steel trowel to the correct depth as desired. Immediately release any traped air by spike rolling.<br \/>\nTemperature: <strong>MC-DUR 260<\/strong> should not be applied on material or floor temperatures below 10\u00b0C. Temperatures should not fall below 5\u00b0C in the first 24hours after application. <strong>MC-DUR 260<\/strong> is not designed for immersion.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 <strong>Service temperatures:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; At 6mm of thickness, it can withstand temperatures ranging from -25\u00b0C to +100\u00b0C.<br \/>\n&#8211; At 9mm of thickness, it can withstand temperatures ranging from -35\u00b0C to +115\u00b0C.<br \/>\n&#8211; At 12mm of thickness, it can withstand temperatures ranging from -45\u00b0C to 130\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 <strong>Substrate movement: <\/strong>All moving joints must be carried through <strong>MC-DUR 260<\/strong> and properly sealed. Construction joints and cracks may be covered but if substrate movement occurs, <strong>MC-DUR 260<\/strong> will reflect the cracks.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 <strong>Cleaning:<\/strong> Clean all tools with acetone, xylene or other solvents before the material hardens. Small unreacted Part B in container is to be decontaminated with a 5% solution of washing soda (sodium carbonate) prior to disposal.
