Its quality is highlighted by two indicators: flexibility at low temperatures (-5\u00b0C) and high temperature flow resistance (110\u00b0C). The supporting structure must be of sufficient structural strength to apply all new and existing layers of the waterproofing build-up. When used as a roofing membrane, the complete roof system must be designed and secured against wind uplift loadings.<br \/>\n&#8211; The substrate must be uniform, firm, smooth and free of any sharp protrusion or burrs, clean, dry, free of grease, oil, dust, and loosely adhering particles.<br \/>\n&#8211; Use bitumen primer MC-Primer SB or MC-Primer WB.<br \/>\n<strong>\u27a2 Surface finishing:<\/strong> The upper surface is finished in sand. The lower surface has a polyethylene film which melts when torched.<br \/>\n<strong>\u27a2 Application:<\/strong> Application procedure may vary slightly depending upon site condition. However below given are general guidelines.<br \/>\n<strong>\u27a2 Alignment:<\/strong> Unroll and alight <strong>MC-Nafuplan 403 SF<\/strong> correctly before torching. Overlaps should be a minimum of 10cm. In case of two or more layers, the sheets must be arranged in staggered rows with overlaps of the upper sheets in the middle of the lower sheets. Longitudinal overlaps must be in the same parallel to the slope.<br \/>\n<strong>\u27a2 Torching:<\/strong> After torching the membrane, roll forward and press firmly against the substrate to bond.<br \/>\n<strong>\u27a2 Caution:<\/strong> Do not over torch.
