Substrate preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; MC-Proof PU 910 can be applied on all mineral substrates, metals, plastics and even wood.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; All substrates to be coated must be sound, clean and free from all loose particles, dust, oil and any other contaminants (e.g. release agent, cement residue).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Concrete tensile strength &gt; 1.5N\/mm\u00b2. Substrate moisture content must not exceed 10%. Voids and deep depressions &gt; 5mm must be filled with suitable specialized repair mortar (e.g. Nafufill KM 103).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; At the junction of the floor and the wall, it must be plastered to create a curvature to prevent cracking of the waterproofing membrane.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Before applying MC-Proof PU 910, joints and cracks must be prepared. Cracks with water leakage can be repaired with specialized products of MC-BIFI (eg MC-Injekt 2188, MC-Injekt 2300,&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Primer:<\/strong> Primer is basically not necessary, however to maximize adhesion or for requirements with higher adhesion than normal, it is recommended to use an additional primer of MC Proof PU 910 with 10% more solvent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Application:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; MC-Proof PU 910 is a ready-to-use liquid PU based, and it needs to be stirred to homogenize before use.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A slow-speed mechanical stirrer should be used to avoid the entrainment of air into the mixture during stirring.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Apply MC-Proof PU 910 by roller, brush or spray directly onto the prepared surface.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The consumption is 1.6 kg\/m\u00b2 corresponding to the waterproof layer thickness of 1.0 mm. To achieve the recommended thickness, 2 coats should be applied and the waiting time between 2 applications should be at least 6 hours. This waiting time depends on the temperature and other climatic conditions at the job site.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; After construction, the protective mortar layer should be rolled onto the waterproof layer, to ensure the long-term durability of the waterproof layer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Curing:<\/strong> After application, MC-Proof PU 910 needs to be protected until the waterproofing layer meets the final specifications (e.g. traffic, rain, humidity &gt;90% RH, etc.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Cleaning:<\/strong> Cleaning tools and equipment with MC-Thinner after use. Hard materials can only be removed by mechanical agents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Safety information:<\/strong> MC-Proof PU 910 contains no harmful substances that require labeling.
